Fur and Faith is entirely run and managed by myself (UGuardian). The content on this site reflects my viewpoints and my viewpoints alone.

I was raised Lutheran, though I have opted to go my own way. Effectively I belong to no denomination.

I believe in the Triune God of God the Father, God the Son and God the Holy Spirit.

Heaven is a paradise where those without sin will spend eternity with God. Those who have committed sins will be cast into Hell, a place of suffering and torment away from God. Unfortunately, man by his very nature is sinful. Jesus, God the Son, suffered and died in our place so that those who believe in Him may have all of their sins forgiven, allowing them to enter Heaven.

The only sin God will not forgive is the sin of not believing in Him. This means that being a Jew, a homosexual, a Furry or just a human being will not prevent you from entering Heaven if you believe in Him. Good deeds and works will not have any bearing on if you can enter Heaven, nor can any ritual or rite grant you entry into Heaven. Those that claim otherwise are liars.

The Bible is a collection of works written by various authors about God, His people, His commandments and His message. I believe that these works as originally written are without error. However, the translations of those works contain errors due to a multitude of reasons. These reasons range from the benign (such as there being no equivalent word in the target language) to the malicious (deliberate altering of the Word). Because of these errors study of the Bible is required to ensure it is being understood to mean was it was meant to mean.

That said, I prefer the New International Version (NIV) and the New King James Versions of the Bible.

I believe that it is wrong to judge something without learning about it, and thus I make an effort to understand something before jumping to conclusions. Unfortunately, limited sources of information pollute the waters, so I will inevitably be wrong about something sooner or later.

The above briefly describes the central points of my beliefs. Any other issue is open for debate.
